The Investigation of Other Topics or Ideas is Restful and Relaxing

Sometimes I need a break from a large project upon which I have been focused. Or, I have a random idea, topic, or subject I wish to visually explore. Occasionally these pieces are created for specific events, such as a gallery’s call for an entry on a particular theme. If the theme is of interest, I will create a painting or assemblage. I will then submit the piece to the gallery for their consideration of inclusion into their exhibition. These pieces are manifestations of those times.

When United with Love … the musical note inherent in every living being would create harmony … peace

This triptych expresses my personal philosophy regarding the possible realities of human relationships. I am expressing the concept that an individual sound or musical note is inherent in each and every element of the earth and perhaps even the universe. When united in an atmosphere of acceptance, unity, sharing and peace, these seemingly disparate notes would create the most wondrous and healing harmony imaginable.
