Old Photos Create Intriguing Creative Possibilities History and Individual Stories Fascinate Me

These intimately sized mixed media paintings were inspired by old photographs. I did not look for them; they just came across my path.  I was so intrigued by the images of the people that I felt compelled to create a visual narrative about them.  I am fascinated by the stories and lives of those who have come before us.  I find the combination of history and the human condition to be filled with artistic and creative possibilities.  Although I have been involved in other projects, I hope to return to this subject in the future.
